Puget Consumers Co-op (PCC), a non-profit organization, donates money to other non-profits through its easy-to-use scrip program.
To support Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation every time you shop at PCC Natural Markets, you simply need a PCC scrip card, which works like a store gift card. You can load the card with money using your credit card or cash at a checkstand in PCC Natural Markets. Then, each time you purchase items, use your scrip card to pay.
Contact Craig or Susan Cyr to get one of these cards. You cannot get the card at PCC, because the card is digitally coded so that purchases benefit our church. Once you have the card, take it to PCC to load it with money.
Each time you recharge your PCC scrip card with money, PCC contributes its own money to our church in an amount equal to 5% of the funds you put on your card. That is, If you pay $100 to load your card, you get to spend $100 on purchases at PCC. And, PCC generously contributes $5 to our church.
PCC sells many organic and locally produced foods, which many Unitarian Universalists purchase to promote sustainability. Additionally, people striving to eat a variety of healthy foods, to avoid food-sensitivities, and to purchase more whole (less processed) foods will find a plethora of choices at PCC.
