Pagan Wheel of the Year

Summer Solstice Celebration

Monday, June 19 at 7 p.m. in Chapman Hall

The EUUC Pagan Wheel of the Year Circle invites you to join them in celebrating the Summer Solstice. The ritual contains elements of Wicca, Shamanism, traditional folklore, and our Unitarian Universalist tradition. Weather permitting, part of the ritual will be held outside.

All are welcome, especially children. Bring drums, rattles, and bells. You are welcome to bring sacred items to place on the altar.

The ritual starts with lighting the chalice, a cleansing, a meditation, and casting the Circle. We call the Lord and Lady, the Spirits of the Four Directions, and the Spirits of the Lower World, Upper World, and Middle World and we turn the Wheel of the Year. There will be drumming, chanting, dancing, and story-telling, and activities to celebrate Mid-Summer Eve.

Will you help us plan the next celebration?

The Wheel of the Year Planning Group is looking for one or two new members.
