Many of the members of the Greater Nashville UU Church and the First UU Church of Nashville are suffering from flooding. Their homes are severely damaged or destroyed, and their possessions have washed away. Numerous congregants are not protected by flood insurance and are living with friends and family and in hotels.
We can make a difference for our friends in faith by donating to a relief fund through the UUA. The fund seeks to provide financial assistance, ministry, and pastoral care to UUs affected by the flood.
We cannot lift their homes out of the mud, but we can lift their spirits in showing that UUs across the country are there for them when help is most needed.
Please donate to the Tennessee and Kentucky Flood Relief Fund. This fund is a partnership among the Unitarian Universalist Association, the Thomas Jefferson District, the Mid-South District, Greater Nashville UU Church, and the First UU Church of Nashville.
