Welcome
The Website Redesign Team needs your help. We are currently researching ways to design the website so that it best meets the needs of the congregation and other users. To accomplish this, we need to know how you think about the topics presented on the website. In particular, we want to know your cognitive categorizations.
We have developed two card sorting exercises—almost games, except that we are seeking thoughtful responses. We provide topics and categories and you sort the topics into the categories. Sound easy?
We estimate that each card sorting exercise will take about 10 - 15 minutes. Of course you can choose to do only one of them, but we hope that many people will take the time to complete both.
Doing Both Card Sorting Exercises
When you click on the link to begin, you will be taken to another website for the first card sort. Upon finishing that exercise, you will be given a chance to begin the second exercise. Of course, if you decide not to do that second card sort, you may stop there.
Doing Only One Card Sorting Exercise
By clicking on the link to begin, you will be taken to another website where you will be given Card Sorting Exercise 2. After completing this exercise, if you decide that you would also like to do exercise 1, return to this page and click on the link above to begin exercise 1.
