Casa Latina (Centro de Ayuda Solidaria a los Amigos) is a community based organization located in Seattle that empowers Latino immigrants through educational and employment opportunities.
Casa Latina was founded in 1994 to provide a strong voice for recent Latino immigrant laborers. Since then, it has grown greatly in size and stature, winning nationwide recognition for its service and success as a community organization.
Casa Latina offers free English as a Second Language classes, an employment center, a woman’s leadership program, and a Wage Claim program for low-income clients unfairly underpaid (in conjunction with the King County Bar Association). Your donation will help Casa Latina assist roughly 1,750 immigrants per year to learn the skills and get the jobs they need to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
