On Association Sunday, October 3, our Sunday offerings will be donated to the UUA, which supports our work with leadership tools, information, specific consultations, marketing, inter-congregational connections, and more.

Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center
October 10 to 31

Dawson Place Child Advoacy Center serves the abused children of Snohomish County. It brings together five public and private agencies (Child Protective Services, Compass Health’s Child Advocacy Program, Providence Intervention Center, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Special Investigation Unit and the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Special Assault Unit) to collaborate and coordinate services. Dawson Place is the only center in the state providing all services for physically or sexually abused children in one place. Last year it served about 925 children and each year the number increases.

Dawson Place provides an abused child a single, child friendly location to tell their story of the abuse just once or twice instead of dealing with multiple agencies in various locations.
