People come to the Bailey-Boushay House with a host of challenges. Most have HIV/AIDS. Others may have end stage cancer, kidney or liver disease. Some are destitute, homeless or alone. Some have mental illness or chemical dependencies. A few are near death.
Here clients are cared for by a team of top-notch nurses, professionals, and volunteers who are wholly dedicated to the understanding of each patient’s needs and desires and strive to make each patient’s stay here as pain free and dignified as possible. It is a place of hope and love.
Adult Day Health and Residential Care are offered. Care is individualized and involves the patient and families in care and treatment. Staff and volunteers spend an average of six hours a day with each patient.
