“The War on Parents”

These are difficult times in which to raise children. The erosion of social support, the isolation of nuclear families, and the steep rise of consumerism all undermine parents’ efforts to raise healthy and whole children. In this service Cecilia will share the thoughts of Cornel West and Sylvia Hewlett on this “war on parents,” and reflect on how the church might respond to the needs of modern families.
