Mid-September through Father's Day

From Fall through Spring we offer several classes for children. 

 

Who is Where When:  At the base of the loft stairs is board in the Narthex.
It will indicate ‘Start in Service’ or ‘Start in RE Classes’. 
Room Assignments and Program Titles for 2011-2012  are as follows:
9:15 – 10:15 am During First Service
RE – 3  Fireflies Toddler Room (up to young 4’s) Fun and safe play space for acclimating young ones to church.
RE – 4  Sparks (Mature 3’s to K) – Celebrating Me and My World – Introduction to UU Values
RE – 5  Flames (Grades 3-4-5) – Toolbox of Faith – UU Faith Development Using Tools as Metaphors
RE – 6  Chalice Lighters (grades 1-2)  Spirit Play (Modified Montessori)  -  UU Values Exploration through Stories
10:30 – Noon
Friarplace: Coming of Age - Grade 8-9 Most Sundays
On non-meeting days youth are encouraged to attend service or assist in RE Classes
Visiting 8th and 9th graders are invited to attend the 11am Fireworks Class. Contact the DLRE
for more information and to explore options.
11:00am – Noon
RE – 1-2 Fireworks (Grades 6-7-8) Amazing Grace - Exploring UU Values as a Roadmap for the Middle School years.   
RE – 3  Fireflies Toddler Room (up to young 4’s) Fun and safe play space for acclimating young ones to church.

Sunday schedule

Each week the schedule of classes is posted on a bulletin board at the base of the stairs in the Narthex. The board tells you whether the children begin the hour in their classes or in Chapman Hall with the adults. 

Rooms and Programs

Held most Sundays. On non-meeting days youth are encouraged to attend service or assist in RE classes.
