From Fall through Spring we offer several classes for children.
Each week the schedule of classes is posted on a bulletin board at the base of the stairs in the Narthex. The board tells you whether the children begin the hour in their classes or in Chapman Hall with the adults.
Up to young 4's - Fireflies class in the Toddler Room, RE-3
Fun and safe play space for acclimating young ones to church
Mature 3’s to K - Sparks class in RE-4
Celebrating Me and My World: Introduction to UU Values
Grades 1 and 2 - Chalice Lighters class in RE-6
Spirit Play (Modified Montessori): UU Values Exploration through Stories
Grades 3, 4, and 5 - Flames class in RE-5
Toolbox of Faith: UU Faith Development Using Tools as Metaphors
Visiting 8th and 9th graders are invited to attend the 11 a.m. Fireworks Class in RE-1. Contact the Director of Lifespan Religious Education for more information and to explore options.
Grades 8 and 9 - Coming of Age class in the Friarplace
Held most Sundays. On non-meeting days youth are encouraged to attend service or assist in RE classes.
