All textual advertising that is intended to reach people outside the EUUC community should be edited and proofread prior to being published. The EUUC community consists of staff, members, and friends of EUUC.
These advertisements might be to promote the church or any aspect of church life, including services, movies, speakers, concerts, and classes. External advertising includes posters, signs, and fliers that are placed on community bulletin boards, at local businesses, and through electronic media. To submit a document for proofreading, please attach the document to an email to email@example.com.
All external advertising through commercial media should go through the Publicity Coordinator who maintains a list of advertising outlets. The external advertising includes press releases, radio ads, newspaper ads, and community event websites.
External publications should identify EUUC and make it easy for people to find us, contact us, and learn more about our church. Each document intended for an outside audience should include these elements:
