Get your Email from Frontier.com

Want to get EUUC email through Gmail?

If you log into Frontier to access your personal email, then you might want to also handle your @euuc.org emails in Frontier. If so, follow these steps.

Stepping through the menus

Open your Frontier inbox.

Click on Preferences in upper right area of the window (just below Log Out. Then, in the left navigation bar choose Accounts.

Fill in the following information.

  • Email address: first.last@euuc.org (Use the email account that you were given.)
  • Account Name: Enter your name as you want it to appear in emails.
  • From name: Enter your name as you want it to appear when you send emails.
  • Click Save in the red bar at the top.

Now you can see that the account has been set up.

You need to check the choices under External Account Settings.

  • Account type: Choose POP3 if you do emails from a single computer and IMAP if you want your emails synchronized on multiple computers.
  • Email server: mail.euuc.org
  • Download messages to the inbox if you want your EUUC emails mixed in with your other emails or download them to a folder, if you prefer to have them separate.
  • Click Test Settings.

You should get this message of success.

Click Ok and return to your inbox. If your messages are in a separate folder, the folder will be in bold lettering when you have unread mail from EUUC. Click on the folder to open it. When you want Frontier to check for more mail, click Get External Mail.
